I use Nikon SB700 on tripod with DIY umbrella. The mode of masterflsah(built in camera) was TTL, also the mode of remort(SB700) was TTL. It realy worked. model:tomo location:Tanapag beach in Saipan,Northern Mariana Islands(USA).

A couple of years ago I decided to do a series of portraits of my friends. Most of my friends that I have known for a long time live in Uruguay, and with them I 've shared my childhood, adolescence and college years. Those I have met in Spain have emerged from different encounters in life during my twenty years living in Barcelona. Strobes: AlienBees 800 Props: 2 V flats, 1 70" Octobox Rear strobe was set 1/3 stop power above Octobox. Octobox positioned about 4 feet from subject. Post processing done in LightRoom 3.6 (color profiling, black and fill light adjustment, vignette adjusting)

I ended up having to run my speedlights at 1/1 to fight the harsh mid-day sun. But I'm very happy with the results.

Found a cool set of trees and decided to go for a scary filmlike shot. One flash camera-left CTO 1/4 power to subject, second flash bare 1/16 pointed at tree in background.

First photo here. so, the left light is the key light and the straight light is a fill, I think the was one stop between them. I'm holding a window that makes me bleary.
