I was too lazy to draw the lighting diagram, so I decided to recreate the shot, to show the setup.

I used one light source:
Elinchrom RX3000+ Rotalux 100x100cm modified with black vinyl sheet

Placing the glass in the center of softbox is a good starting point. For controlling the light and quality of the rims you have several degrees of freedom:
A - you can change the distance between softbox and object
B - you can move change the height of softbox
C - you can twist the softbox
D - you can tilt it

just experiment! :)

Please also note:
For this explanatory shot I used apple juice insted of wine :)
I also used lab support stand with clamp to hold the glass steady in tilted position (instead of nr 7, used in this picture)
