Canon EOS 20D
Shoot Thru Umbrella
With this photo, I wanted to demonstrate that expensive equipment isn't necessary to produce a nice portrait.
I used a speedlite with a shoot-thru umbrella as my key light. Another speedlite with a 1/4" grid was used as a rim light. A simple 5'x7' collapsible bounce (black side) was used as a backdrop.
This whole set-up was done in the subject's 12'x12' living room. Simple gear, simple set up, one solid shot.
