I like how your lighting captures the facial features and that there is no reflection in the glasses. The simplicity of the shot is also appealing. Well done!

Additional Notes

This was a shot I did of my dad after having a paid shoot in the studio. The Chimera Octa 2 Beauty dish is just out of frame overhead to give strong falloff and it's positioned so that he's under the back edge to light just his face. The strip light was a gridded Chimera Super Pro silver medium and was tilted down to help give strong falloff toward the bottom of the frame. The background light is a Profoto Zoom Reflector with a 10 degree grid.
The dish was metered to ƒ8 and all other lights are ƒ5.6.
