February here in Canada (and I believe also in the US), is the Black History Month (yes I know it’s also the month of Valentine’s Day but hey). It was the perfect time for a “tribal” photo shoot as I had this idea in mind for a while.
The goal was to create ​​an image that is both beautiful and mystical at the same time, with a tribal makeup like those used in various ceremonies.
