Additional Notes

This was the 3rd floor of the remains of the 2nd oldest synagogue in New Orleans... I'd had 30x60 softboxes, and an 86" PLM reflector ready to go, but I thought "Do I really want to carry all that up some rickety treacherous stairs?" So I instead brough a Nikon SB-900 with a shoot through umbrella.
I had the model stand just-so that the shaft of light from the upper window acted as a hairlight, and the speedlight did the rest... I don't remember what power I had the flash set to, but it was fairly close... Maybe a 1/3 stop under 1/16, maybe?
