Additional Notes

Shot in 2008, I lost the digital raw file in a hard drive formatting fiasco. Exposure and ISO speed are very rough guesses, while Aperture and Focal Length are more reliable estimates.

Continuous CFL lamps were used in place of flash heads, with cardboard panels for control. Primary light was placed above and slightly ahead of the camera, with snooting and barndoors to set strict areas of falloff. Rim lights were placed behind the subject at roughly 45º angles, and positioned to give maximum side coverage, while minimising impact on the nose. Background was a panel covered in greenery and Christmas lights (dark in black and white, but clearly visible in colour shots).

Minor retouching and levels/contrast in Photoshop.
