Hey, can you add more details on how you did it? Was it in a movement or you moved only after flash went off?

here is what i did: the exposure was 1/3 second. Flash fired on 1st curtain (I cannot get my 1ds to fire on 2nd with external flash) so after the flash, i simply moved the camera a bit during the exposure. I was basically exposing for the window lights (even to over-expose a bit) and then added main flash and hairlight
