How much is it?

It's $6 for 3 months, so it's effectivley $2 per month. That's less than a fancy coffee! If Strobox is worth that to you, we'd love to have your support on continious basis.

Why is it billed 3 months at a time?

PayPal takes a fixed fee plus a percentage from each transaction, so processing a bunch of $2 transactions is wasteful. We also don’t want to bother you with PayPal payment emails every month for $2 transactions.

Can I cancel any time?

Absolutely. No strings. No attachments. No trickery.

In 2009 we created a unique iPhone app to document your photography lighting setups. Our bigger vision was to one day create a community where photographers could share their knowledge, experience, and learn from those on the front lines. That dream came true in 2010 when we launched our Strobox website.

Today, we have 32,000 unique monthly visitors - from all corners of the globe - we never expected Strobox to grow so quickly and are now facing the need to seek additional support. Until now everything has been run by our amazing community of volunteers, who not only donated their time but also chipped in financially to help cover hard costs like hosting fees, development support, legal fees, etc. We are now reaching out to you, our greater Strobox community, to ask for financial support to keep Strobox growing.

Hi there,

I really enjoyed this picture.. I by myself have experienced drop photography, I have Canon 550D and Nissin 622 flash... I can not take picutres faster than 1/200. Can you direct me?

Hi. Firstly you camera need to have HSS (high speed sync) + your flash gun need to have this option as well. Try pop up your build in flash, use as a controller or master and other flash as a slave. Secondly setup wireless mode and your camera on manual mode. If you can not set up faster shutter speed as 1/200 you will be not able to use that flash. You will need some better cannon flash gun which allow you to use HSS.
